Warehouse & Supply Chain Operative Level 2

> Funding: £5,000

> Duration: 12 Months

Course Overview

The Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 apprenticeship is designed for individuals working in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, retail, distribution, and supply chain environments who want to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to perform confidently in a modern warehouse operation. Whether receiving goods, managing stock, preparing customer orders, or dispatching products, learners develop the practical expertise needed to contribute safely and efficiently to day-to-day operations.

Throughout the programme, apprentices build a strong understanding of warehouse processes, stock handling, inventory management, health and safety, environmental awareness, customer service, and the effective use of warehouse technology. Learning is directly linked to the workplace, enabling apprentices to immediately apply new knowledge and improve productivity, quality, and operational performance.

Delivered over 12 months through a flexible remote model, the programme combines monthly one-to-one coaching sessions with interactive virtual peer group workshops, providing personalised support whilst encouraging learners to share experiences and best practice with colleagues from other organisations. Regular progress reviews, workplace evidence gathering, and structured EPA preparation ensure apprentices remain on track throughout their learning journey.

Aligned to the nationally recognised Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 apprenticeship standard, the programme prepares learners for successful End-Point Assessment while helping employers develop a safer, more productive, and highly skilled warehouse workforce. On completion, apprentices have the confidence and capability to take on greater responsibility and progress into more advanced warehouse, logistics, and supply chain roles.
